Besides his wine maker profession, Bernard Coudert is highly involved in the regional activities by being administrator of the Aquitaine region subsidiary of the Crédit Agricole and president of the GDON association that struggles against the “flavescence dorée” also called the phyllorexa of the 21st century.
Bernard Coudert has also received the National Order of Agricultural Merit in 2005 delivered by the Ministry of Agriculture.
With the support of his cellar master and his oenologist, Bernard Coudert supervises all the vineyard treatments and wine making process activities. The vintage cutting and all the other work is performed by the château Castagnac staff and the bottling is done directly on site.

Lydia Coudert, Bernard Coudert’s daughter, has joined the company in 2017 and is responsible of the sales as well as the entreprise management.
